MovRecorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-quick-time.htm#MovRecorder) 1.3 + WinPcap 3.1 + QT Pro 7.3.
First, I click the Start button of the Mov Recorder, then open the url http://202.38.70.145/movieurl.asp?movieurlid=51 or rtsp://202.38.70.248/2004lsz/20040211lsz.mov.
But the Mov Recorder doesn't start recording the stream automatically. I've tried all filter modes in the Mov Recorder, but none of them works.
I've also tried the following combinations, but get the same results:
VLC 0.8.6c + Mov recorder 1.3 + WinPcap 3.1
QT 6.4 + Mov recorder 1.3 + WinPcap 3.1
QT 6.4 + Mov recorder 1.3 + WinPcap 3.1
QT 6.4 + Mov recorder 1.3 + WinPcap 4.1 beta2
QT 6.4 + Mov recorder 1.2 + WinPcap 3.1
QT 6.4 + Mov recorder 1.1 + WinPcap 3.1
Is there anyone who has encountered similar problem? Any solutions? Thanks.

First of all, I recommend to use a version of WinPCap that comes with MovRecorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-quick-time.htm#MovRecorder).
You can also try QT Alternative, but I really doubt that it will help (I've got the same problem, but I use QT Alternative instead of QT player).

WinPCap 3.1 is the one comes with Mov Recorder. I'll try QT alternative. Thanks.

QT Alternative 1.95 doesn't work either.
I'm now trying VLC 0.8.6c to record the stream, with the command
"c:\program files\videolan\vlc\vlc.exe" rtsp://202.38.70.248/2003sjh/20031020_1.mov :sout=#transcode{acodec=mp3,ab=128,channels=2}:std {access=file,mux=avi,dst="c:\20031020_1.avi"}
But in most time, VLC first caches the entire stream in the memory (about 45 min, 600MB), and thus causes its huge memory usage. It doesn't wirte it to the file until I stop the recording. But it's not always the case. Sometimes, VLC can work properly with the same command, i.e. write the stream to the file continuously during the recording. But I can't summarise the rule, and whether it works properly seems like a random event.
I've also tried several other commands, and get the same results.
"c:\program files\videolan\vlc\vlc.exe" rtsp://202.38.70.248/2003sjh/20031020_1.mov :sout=#transcode{acodec=mp3,ab=128,channels=2}:std {access=file,mux=mp4,dst="c:\20031020_1.mp4"}
"c:\program files\videolan\vlc\vlc.exe" rtsp://202.38.70.248/2003sjh/20031020_1.mov :sout=#transcode{acodec=s16l}:std{access=file,mux= avi,dst="c:\20031020_1.avi"}
Is there any solution? Thank you.

When you search for a devoloper for your app, make sure that they can offer cross-platform developing. There are ways to do that with app development kits. Naomi refuses, Tensai gets angry, and Fandango skips town again.
