Hello, I have a following problem: I'm trying to record video stream from address
http://mmserv.nrsr.sk/index.asp?module=nrsr&page=Broadcast&Status=archived&BroadcastID=550

So far i've tried several programs, but with no luck. Can anyone of you manage to capture it? Also programs with fee are OK, as long as I can verify the capture ability before purchase.

I have found the stream URL
rtsp://mmserv.nrsr.sk:554/Archive1/nrsr_archive_550.rm?cloakport=8080,554,7070
but I wasn't able to download/capture video using WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm), Replay AV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-AV-capture-Streaming-Video-Audio-Radio-Shows-Online-TV-Broadcasts-Video-Clips-Audio-Archives-Podcasts-Free-to-try.htm), NetTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm), Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm)...

I can't really figure out right now whether it is due to the connection problem or something else.

What programs have you tried when capturing this stream?

It is interesting that I was able to watch the video in the browser and with Media Player Classic. I had problems with players as well, but at least I was able to watch. And stream downloading was always problematic.

i had a problem capturing a rtsp/mms stream before, because i couldn't get most of the programs working. Finally,i tried GetAsfStream and it worked
you can try it if you can watch the video

AFAIK GetASFStream (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-windows-media.htm#GetASFStream) supports Windows Media streams only. If I can watch these videos, I can use WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) or freeware WebVideoCap (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WebVideoCap-Freeware-stream-capture-software-for-HTTP-flash-RTSP-MMS-Windows-Media-streams.htm) to capture packets from Windows Media player.

The problem is that here Real Media (Real Player) is used. I can use WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) (WMR) in the PRO mode to capture packets from Real Player. However WMR has problems with Real Player 11 and Real Alternative, so Real Player v.10 or earlier needs to be installed.

so, no direct downloading of this stream? Thanks for claryfing this. BTW, if Media Player Classic can play it (for me MPC is workign perfectly OK), isn't there a way to capture it from MPC?

If you can play it, in most cases you can download it.

I had problem with this stream, but may be you play and/or download it at different hours or from different location(s) when and where you don't have any problems playing or downloading this streams. Most programs are either free or provide trial versions, so you should try them.

Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player and many other players can play it only when Real Alternative is installed. WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) used to work capture streams for me when I was using Real Alternative. Although it doesn't work for anymore, it doesn't necessarily mean that it won't work for you.

You may also install Real Player 10 and capture Real Media streams from it with WM Recorder.
