I have problems recording video streams from learning.escapestudios.com. Every program I have tried including StreamTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/StreamTransport-Download-HTTP-RTMP-RTMPE-streams.htm), CooJah + Blader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Blader-freeware-RTMP-downloader.htm), rtmpsuck fail to download/capture anything. The streams seems to consist of many small chunks broadcasted over HTTP, but I can't find a way how to join them.

dear friend ;)
i dont know learning.escapestudios.com (and i dont want to know it, to be honest and cruel) but there is a simple method of joining file parts or files: use a tool such as winhex (http://www.winhex.com) to concatenate any kind of file or any file(s)!

if you know the order of the files (here: file parts), then join the parts in this correct order with winhex.
good luck *ggg*

May be you have patience to join thousands of small files :D Or may be you can find a way to automate this... Right now screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) seems to be the best option.

i dont have the patience :D to do learning at escapestudios.com. their website and whole service s***s, it is one of the worst websites (or internet companies) i know although i've never visited their webpages. i just know it. and from a friend.
automating it? what about this method:
1. sort the 1000 files after file date/time
2. rename the files with a preceeding sorting number (001_..., 002_...,...,999_...). any file renaming tool can do this.
3. use a file concatenating tool which joins the files automatically, e.g. FFJS (http://www.jaist.ac.jp/~hoangle/filesj/)
4. get some hotdog or bigmac when you're hungry for that
5. join #1000 at end of the 999th tail and finally enjoy the vid
6. yeah you're right. screen video capturing software (see www.applian.com) is easier. much easier.
:p
