i been trying so long now to save any video but it's a drag:
1 month ago i could save a few videos with wmr but before and after that i never was succesful again :(
most manuals how to download from there are dated (2005),
web based lyfox can provide mms links but only for medium quality (300k) so it seems. at least i can download that in combination with wmr (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm). but i need the 700k versions
lyfox.exe is not working (for me at least) once you doubleclick a video NO mms link appears + you cant watch the video. does it work for anybody or isn't that software working no more ?so as of today is it or is it not possible to download from launch.com ?

they changed the website some months ago (i guess from wmr to flash video) thats why most methods don't work any longer. but is it still possible ?

i just found out the Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) does the job

only i don't know if it will also DL the 700k versions

When you see flash video especially the one that can be recorded with WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm), try any rtmp:// flash stream recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm) like Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm).

There are lots of threads about rtmp flash streams in the forum.

As for high bit-rate (700k or similar) versions of music videos, I don't really know whether they are available or not.

yes they are and from what i see the replay media catcher can also capture those.
i'm glad i finally found a solution
