Is there any software that can record, capture from imlive? I did try GetFLV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/GetFLV-Download-and-convert-flash-video-streaming.htm) nothing. I did try Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm) nothing and I did try Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) but nothing:confused: I did follow all the tutorials etc... please help thanks in advance.

Were you capturing packets from flash player (recording) with Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) or downloading with it?

Have you changed the recording mode so that Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) can capture packets from Flash Player (it is called recording in Jaksta) instead of downloading streams?

ok, i changed it to recording mode, but strange thing is, it still captures not the full vid, but only about 1 min..and then stops..and the vid cannot be forwarded like in the downloading mode..:confused:

I'll notify the developer.

You can also try rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm). If it doesn't work, then screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) might be the only option to record RTMP streams from imlive.com.

Do you try to record free chats or private chats from imlive.com ?

No, its about the recorded vids, not about the live cams, the capturing of the live cams works fine..

:eek: ok so i take it you want to watch a video chat host on imlive and be able to record it your self and save it .well some host allow you to record the sessions with them,U can go back and watch those session at a price of corse . But it is considered theft to record a live session of a video chat host without her ok .even if its ok with the host at imlive ,imlive dose not allow this and considers it theft . if you want to watch a live video chat session with a host then pay for it .if the host allows guests to record the session and save it to your members page for later viewing that ok . @getflv: You can also try to record the models from ImLive that are on hxxp://www.shufuni.com/peepshow/. Hopefully that can help you fix the problem.

I have been searching here and on the net, i downloaded some programs such as; Coojah, Wireshark, StreamTransport. But i couldn't use any of them effectively. rtmpexplorer didn't work for me, it couldn't open the video. I have these links;

But it’s not useful to get a video as you know. It must be like this format;

There are some models i want to watch, but they are on Free Text Chat mostly. So i want to capture the stream even when they are on Free Text Chat.

How can i get server, port info and the other necessary things? I’d be so glad, if you can give any suggestion.

I know the way how to start streaming pvt session but unfortunately I did not find the way to record the it :( Both ways that I knew died long time ago. Now, I am not using rtmpdump at all for that but it looks like only rtmpdump will be able to save it. Unfortunately rtmpdump commands are so complicated for me and I never manage to learn them.

So, if anyone is interested and more familiar with it and is interested in recording pvts at IML I would send him e-mail with explanation how I am starting the pvt stream. I hope that could lead to rec. solution.

Looking forward to exchange my knowledge with anyone who is interested into this !

i try this code with rtmpdump, but it downloaded 0kb file. maybe i have a problem with Internet Explorer or Java or Flash Player. I have no idea. maybe someone can try it works or not? The code was shared by #chap.
