I've been able to apply the tutorials provided here for mtv and other sites but I can't find out how to download the streams from this site:

http://oyo.novatv.hr/

I've tried it with wireshark, used the rtmpt filter but all I get is a bunch of "unknowns" and I couldn't locate any stream address. I've tried it with rtmp explorer but without any luck. With Get Flv I could play the stream and I could start the download but as soon as I start it, it stops automatically and no matter how often I push the resume button, it stops again and nothing but an empty file is downloaded. I tried also stream transport and got an "storage error" (the video was just loading but never started to play). The same thing happened with tubedigger. I tried to do it manually with the ff addon http watch and rtmpdump but no success either. As my last attempt I tried using pmdump + process explorer and hxd and I found some rtmp strings but no rtmp stream link or something that could be put together into a stream link...

Here is an example video:

It is free but you need to log in to watch it. If somebody is willing to help I can give you my username and password and I would be very grateful!

Cheers!

Use StreamTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/StreamTransport-Download-HTTP-RTMP-RTMPE-streams.htm)v 2041

Hmmm, thanks for the tip, I already saw a tutorial for another site where the writer instructed to specifically use this version you mentioned but it didn't work (a little outdated tutorial) so I didn't think of the possibility for this version to work on other sites but after installing again that version and trying to open the video I still get the same error:

http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/4580/storageerror.th.png (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/220/storageerror.png/)

I tried to google it but I get only some issues with servers and not a single case which matches with my problem, any advice?

I use a VPN,try

I live in the country which provides this service so VPN is not necessary but I figured out that the problem is Windows related (probably :D). I can download streams from MTV (example) with StreamTransport without any problems but the same error connects GetFlv, StreamTransport (both versions) and some other software which is this annoying "Storage error" so I decided to set up a WinXP based virtual machine with VirtualBox and try it on the VM. I succeeded!!! (with the newest version of StreamTransport so it's not a version related problem).

As I said, other stream sites work flawlessly so I thought it was a problem with the software which couldn't deal with that kind of stream but now I think I have something installed which in combination with Windows 7 and that kind of stream creates this error and since troubleshooting would take long (I have all kinds of software installed) the best solution is to stick with the Virtual Machine.

Thanks chap for your support, without you I would blame the "weird" stream type... :D
