View Full Version : Help with hard to download FLV files from getcloser.com

Hey guys, I found this forums while searching for an answer so Id thought I ask you guys.

I'm trying to download some videos for the website Getcloser.com. Ive used alot of flv downloaders but none of them will detect/download the videos. I think I know what the links are.

Have you tried to record from getcloser.com with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and Bit Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Bit-Recorder-Capture-RTMP-HTTP-audio-video-streams-from-Flash-player.htm)?

I think they must have protected the files, Ive tried alot of ripping software and they cant do it.

That sucks.

Bit Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Bit-Recorder-Capture-RTMP-HTTP-audio-video-streams-from-Flash-player.htm) can capture packets coming to your Flash player. It shouldn't care about any protection. Have you tried it?

If it is an HTTP stream, you may also try freeware WebVideoCap (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WebVideoCap-Freeware-stream-capture-software-for-HTTP-flash-RTSP-MMS-Windows-Media-streams.htm). It also capture packets coming to your Flash player.

You can also try Web Stream Dumper of Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm)

Hi

Well there is ONE more thing you can do, if you haven't tried yet, please try using a Screen Capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) program. These record what's on your screen, as opposed to recording from the server itself. The format of video does not matter with these types of programs.
