I would like to ask for your help regarding a reliable way to record streaming video from mtv.com

I would buy the necessary software if no free option is available.

Thanks for the help

An example for a video where I'm having trouble is the following:

Thanks

I've Installed RMC 3.02 and I can see the stream information.

Unfortunately there is an error when recording

Capture RTMP streams
mt_city_113_rt162672_s1_768x432_1800.mp4_0ED1B57D

Internal error while trying to download RTMP stream
Exception:
m_nErrType = 15
m_strDesc = "SWF Verification detected -- Sorry, these RTMP connections are not allowed to be analyzed."
m_strFile = F:\proj32\TestRTMPClient\RTMPStreamRip.cpp
m_nLineNumber = 912

Has anyone been succesful in ripping streaming videos from MTV.com? Again, the URL is

http://www.mtv.com/videos/the-city-ep-13-i-lost-myself-in-us/1606805/playlist.jhtml

Thanks again for the help

MTV uses RTMPE protocol. There are no streaming media rippers/recorders/downloaders that support it:
www.mtv.com: Software or web-site to download music videos from MTV.com

I can only recommend to use screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) for such web-sites.

m_strDesc = "SWF Verification detected -- Sorry, these RTMP connections are not allowed to be analyzed."
m_strFile = F:\proj32\TestRTMPClient\RTMPStreamRip.cpp

The only program I know that can capture some RTMP streams with SWF verification is Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm). However it doesn't work with RTMPE streams.

Thanks Stream Recorder for the quick response.

I'm glad I found this forum to post my questions as I am a noob to Stream Recording.

Thanks again, I will see what results I can get from Screen Capture.

Gives errors on my Vista before even attemping to record any stream. And my license has expired on Windows XP, so I can't test it.
