Hi there!

I'm trying to download a very short clip from here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0336dtp)

I can view it if I'm using hola unblocker, otherwise I can't unfortunately.

I obtained the rtmp information using wireshark but for some reason I can't get it to work.

This is what my rtmpdump command looks like:

Can you help me out? I tried getting a direct link to the mp4 cause i know sometimes there's a way but I wasn't able to find one either.

I'm assuming you're in EU (UK maybe). If not, you will need to use a UK VPN for it to work ;)

Hi!!

Thank you. Wow, it's quite different from mine but I see where I made some mistakes, it's a good learning opportunity.

I've tried it out and it gave me an error though ("ERROR: rtmp server requested close". I added the "--debug" parameter and i think it somewhere it says "access denied".

I think it may be because it's geoblocked and that's why i can view it on my browser using Hola, but i can't access it from my command line.

Can someone maybe download it for me please? I don't have any vpn access.

You can also try to downloading it via ffmpeg ;) --but again you will need a UK Proxy/VPN

I never know how to get the streams to use with ffmpeg. Is that done with wireshark too?

I'm going to get a vpn (maybe one called surfeasy which doesn't look like very expensive).
