Hi...
I am trying to record a basketball stream off the internet so i can watch it later...it only broadcasts when the matches are on..

I have tryed the wm recorder and the replay media catcher, but neither seem to pick up the stream automatically, and i cant find the url or file name so i cant input it manually. I tryed using URL snooper but i got loads of results and couldnt find this actual channel/stream..

The stream comes on:

bt when i input that into WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) it doesnt work.....

When you see an embedded flash player, it is a good idea to try to use an RTMP Flash stream recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm) like Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm).

WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) can't record RTMP flash videos, it supports HTTP flash videos only.

SWF is just a flash object. Such objects are often used as players for flash HTTP and RTMP streams.

ahhh thanks a lot for the advice, i tried the Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm), but it didn't pick up the stream.....but then i tried - FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm)!! and I think that it worked, I'll try it again when the next game comes on and I'll let u know whether it works...

Make sure to run Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) first, and only then open your web-browser and navigate to the stream.

Do they have any similar non-live (on-demand) streaming videos?
