Both WM Recorder and Replay Media Catcher pick up the URL from the stream and begin recording but they only record for roughly 20-30 seconds and then stop, about 10 MB into, just stop. Then it automatically searches again for about 50 seconds and restarts the record over, but soon again it stops around 10 MB into the recording then repeats the process. This happens on both WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) and Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm). I'm not quite sure what the problem might be, maybe the media player they run? Either way, thanks for any help or advice :)

I am unable to test without a username/password...but it could be that the site is streaming in 10mb chunks.

Well, good news, I WAS able to record it just fine using both WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) AND Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm)

Do you have the latest version of each? (12.2 for wmr, and 3.11 for rmc?)

I only have the 12.1 WMR version, I uninstalled it and tried to download the new verion, but I can only find the 12.1 version, even after I installed the WMR from that site it still says 12.1

Click on 'settings' and read the version # from the bottom, it should be 12.2 despite what the other says...

You're right it is 12.2


but I only have the demo version, maybe this is the problem why it's not downloading it all the way?

Stream Ripper, when you play the stream, does it randomly skip to the next scene after a couple minutes or less of playing when you try? It does this to me almost everytime I play a scene.. It just skips to the next one after a minute or so..

I think this may be part of the problem


Could it be the FLV player it's streaming from? When I right click the window it says "About JW FLV Media Player 3.15", then underneath two panels it says "About Adobe Flash Player 9"

Do you also get this SR?

I tried recording one of the trailers http://www.wickedpictures.com/player.php?id=1516 and was able to record the entire 2:07 in just 20 seconds or so.

What happens when you try that link, for example?

The ONLY thing I have trouble recording are scenes from is this site. It's only the scenes, the trailors all download. Then when I click on the scene, starts playing, records..10 sec, 20, 30, 40, stops.... but the video still plays (then sometimes randomly skips to the next scene)

Have you tried to record with freeware WebVideoCap (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WebVideoCap-Freeware-stream-capture-software-for-HTTP-flash-RTSP-MMS-Windows-Media-streams.htm) or with Bit Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Bit-Recorder-Capture-RTMP-HTTP-audio-video-streams-from-Flash-player.htm)?

Wickedpictures.com uses RTMP streams, so you may try to record from it using freeware Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm) or any other RTMP Flash stream recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm).
