Hello to everyone here on these forums, but the reason why I joined this site is because I have been having difficulties downloading videos from http://harvestreno.org/messages.asp
I used to download them with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) all the time, and now it is not working (it won't even open anymore  - the program is bugged on my computer)(Even before Adobe asked them to stop the rtmpe support). I even posted on this at the Applian Forums (http://forum.applian.com/showthread.php?t=2507&highlight=harvestreno), but never had anything resolved with some discussion.

Ever since then I have been looking for alternatives. BitRecorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Bit-Recorder-Capture-RTMP-HTTP-audio-video-streams-from-Flash-player.htm) seemed to work, but only sometimes and because of the rarity that I get a complete download I have decided not to use it :( . I have tried it with rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm), but just get the 10060 Socket error, Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm) has the same issue  . Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm), E.M Youtube Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/EM-Youtube-Video-Download-Tool.htm), GetFLV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/GetFLV-Download-and-convert-flash-video-streaming.htm) have all seemed to work but I am reluctant to pay for them.

I have been seeking a way to download Harvest because, after talking to the pastor and getting 5 DVD's sent down here awhile back, I have been looking for a way to download them without having to have him send them down. This is the reason why I ever started looking for ways to download videos online in the first place, as I find his sermons very interesting.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) works on that site (for me). Any rtmp capture program should work.

I'm using v3.01 of RMC. I didn't like the change (in v3.02) to a network interface driver (much like Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) uses). You would think that a network driver would be more powerful, but it is also less system-friendly and less compatible. RMC v3.01 is a much more elegant method, in my opinion.

So, if you're using v3.02, maybe try v3.01.

I don't have any problem recording RTMP video streams from harvestreno.org with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) 3.0.2.

I can't download these RTMP streams with Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm) and Orbit Grab Pro. Orbit has lots of problems with other RTMP streams as well.

The problem you described in the Applian User Forums (http://forum.applian.com/showthread.php?t=2507&highlight=harvestreno) seems to be related to some anti-spyware software that messed up everything. I don't know anything about the program you were using, but there are lots of low-quality anti-spyware programs that give false alarms and that make your OS unstable after removing "spyware". I don't think Applian or any other software vendor can solve and should solve problems like that. You can re-install your Windows or just use a virtual machine like freeware Virtual Box.

I'm using v3.01 of RMC. I didn't like the change (in v3.02) to a network interface driver (much like Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) uses). AFAIK the developer of RMC was against using network drivers or similar low level software. I don't think RMC 3.0.2 uses something like that. When you Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) you can definitely see when Windows asks you whether to install the driver that is not certified.

So, if you're using v3.02, maybe try v3.01.
Might be a good idea.

Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) is pretty cool, in fact the preferred program I used to use. For more info on my problem,

Thanks
