I was trying to use url snooper and livestreamer to try and get the m3u8 link of some localized content for myself but I'm having trouble with both of them.. Can someone help me understand how to do this myself and or provide the links for me?

One is a ustream link:

Adblock Plus in Firefox & Internet Download Manager help a lot.

Have you tested your links!
1st link does not play, period!
2nd link only plays for a few second

Yea, they don't work for me either.. I'm not having much luck.

With regards to turnto10, one of the problems is that the link is NOT LIVE all the time. Try specifying when it goes LIVE (i.e. it goes live at 10 am, 12 am 2pm and 5 pm GMT or EST or PST time), so we can try to sniff it out at the right time. See in CA they're smarter LOL...their LIVE broadcast times are streaming right there during the non-live gaps ;) http://abc7.com/live/ where as in Cranston, it only shows a lame message of "Your Stream Is starting Soon" http://turnto10.com/live ;)

I'm not sure what I need to get started with this. The stream would start in 40 minutes if someone can take a crack at it.

Also, can someone help me with the ustream one as well?

yes livestreamer is having been built for livestream. what being problem? wpri yes being livestream.

if you no wanting akamaihd with using livestreamer you yes may be using hls. both yes working.

TBH with you, you can just download that link with IDM, or even simpler, open the link in firefox or WHATEVER and ctrl+s to save it lol

I also have vlc plugin installed so it will allow me to play the file via firefox
