Is there any freeware software that can record live adult web cams from flirt4free.com?

You can use Replay Media Catcher (http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher) to record RTMP live adult web cams from flirt4free, but it is not freeware. (Retested on 8/20/2013 and it still works great).

In some cases it is better to record live chats with screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) (by capturing video from your screen). The two best IMO are WM Capture (http://wmrecorder.com/products/wm-capture/) and Replay Video Capture (http://applian.com/replay-video-capture/).

I tried to record free chats from flirt4free.com with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) 3.0.2 and Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) 3.1.1 and both programs recorded RTMP streams successfully.

The only problem is that the newest version doesn't support SWF verification anymore. Do you use RMC 3.0.1 or do you use 3.0.2 with older rtmp plug-in?

Yes, when i click on the erroneous flv-File, i get something like this:

You can try to use RTMPE recorders like freeware command line rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm) for downloading RTMPE streams.

Besides downloading you can capture RTMPE streams with freeware rtmpsuck. Just install Linux like free Ubuntu and use it. rtmpsuck allows to save a stream as long as you watch it.

GetFLV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/GetFLV-Download-and-convert-flash-video-streaming.htm) 9.0.0.3 or greater works, but the trial version stops the download at 10mb or 50% and prompts you to register. I have heard terrible things about registering for the full version of getflv Pro (users being told their new purchased key was expired and useless, and non existent customer support etc).

Does anyone know of an RTMP engine similar to GetFLV that works free?

Manifest files and bootstrap info can also be accessed, but there should be a program which can decode and merge the fragments into one video file. GetFLV is not able to solve this "problem".

hi guys,

I just stumbled upon this forum while googling for answers as to why Tubedigger suddenly stopped working on Flirt4free.

I downloaded tubedigger( 2.2.1) days ago, and was having a blast suddenly being able to download all those vids i been wanting, but this morning suddenly, when i go flirt4free with tubedigger it just crashes after few seconds on the website, it actually crashes on other websites too, AND on another computer, AND some older versions as well, all except the new one and older 1.4.4 . The new tubedigger doesnt crash, but it also doesnt record or download. The tubedigger 1.4.4 can RECord 3-4 mb when you hit preview, but then it aborts, and it doesnt even start if you choose to D-L instead.


Can someone shed some light on this, and is there any other way getting the Vod from flirt4free

GetFlv hasn't been working for month now with F4F Vod. (Only from time to time it downloads one vod). Don't know what's up with it. Installed

It worked very well initially for a number of videos over 2 hours, downloaded ~20 videos with no issue at all.
Sadly now responds with 'failed' on the vast majority of videos I try (1 succcessful out of 40+ tried). I wonder if F4F has a means of detecting and blocking this type of software after a certain period of use?

Would still recommend it if you have a smaller number of videos you want (still works out cheaper) but, from my experience at least, its not a guarentee to get the videos you want.

As far as I know there is no way to access the content if you don't register (this used to work, but they changed the security on the site I guess).

I myself have an account on the site. It required credit/debit card details but does not apply any charges for registration. You can change your card details to something fake once you've registered.

It seems you need to have fast internet connection (1 Mb/s at least) for stable downloading. Otherwise try various VPNs to change country of IP address. Also try to restart failed video.

I got impression that all new information about recording of a private shows at any of a cam sites are exchanging via pvt messages last several weeks. Most of us have found ways to record pvts from various cam sites but sharing those solutions here on board leads directly to fixing the bugs by cam site owners. Even more, some of us made own tools for grabbing the streams. Unfortunately I do not have such advanced knowledge.

that error happened to me while playing very few live private streams. all its effect were let's say i played the video in vlc after 15 seconds of recording, it would stop at 15 secs. if i reopen it after 1 min it would stop at the 1 min mark. other than that, it was all good.

now it's useless to even discuss it or trying to solve it, cz recording there doesnt even work anymore for private shows.

if an original customer suddenly quits the pvt or run out of credits, the performer has a several seconds to move camera or press BREAK otherwise will be automatically switched to free chat. Now the start of that moment still recorded but for 3-5 seconds only. Did anyone try to record an rtmp URL catched while take a short pvt? Is that similar to free one? Do VS-servers really break broadcast or maybe broadcast becomes crypted while performer are in pvt or fake pvt and recorder is unable to recognize a stream captured? Just an interesting things :-)

I don´t know this. I only have a normal registered account with details of my bank account, no credit card. I even don´t know, what you mean with Verification?

You just have to open the preview vid inside Tube Digger (registered account) and TB should start to capture the movie. But as i already wrote, its not a good solution, since it takes quite long, to capture the full vid, about 15 to 20 minutes.

Does anyone know why the same feed of the same model recorded from the same server at the same time but via two different methods would result in 1 playable flv and 1 unplayable one?

On some girls' cams (not all) I've encountered finished flvs via rtmpdump that no matter what file size will only play 1/2 a second and cannot be fixed. They also cannot be watched while recording. I figured it was just a codec issue at first.

But then I discovered the very same feed grabbed with RMC will produce a playable flv. Not only playable, but watchable while it's happening. So...what's going on? What is RMC doing that rtmpdump is not and how can I make it so rtmpdump simulates it?

So I did some digging on my own and located this thread from january of this year that says the bug is in rtmpdump:

I have encountered problem of downloading several live video streams with latest version (any version starting 2.3 and up to latest version in trunk) - the recorded files were no playable. My investigation showed that the problem mostly appeared in live video streams that were broadcasted with Flash 11 client in h264 codec. Debug session (on windows machine :-() showed that the problem happens when many first chunks has 0 time stamps so there's a trigger for realloc just before buffer overflow. The reallocation doesn't consider the first 13 bytes of the header that exists in the buffer and that's how 13 bytes get vaporized. It forces next chunk to start in incorrect offset and the stream becomes unplayable.

I know this isn't what u're asking for but instead of using what is, imo, a very difficult to use rtmpdump, use tubedigger 4.3.5 and it's a guaranteed way to download the videos, and they're playable and not broken.

When you say Replay media Catcher 5 works great with flirt4free, do you mean with the VODs? Also, do you have to stay on the VOD page like you would with Replay Video Capture to get the whole clip or does it work like real media catcher normally would for the VODs?

I know I have Replay media catcher 4 and it does not work with the flirt4free VODs at all. I also have RTMPDump v 2.4. I have tried adding it as a plugin to Replay media catcher 4 in hopes that it will make catching the fllirt4free VODs possible. Does anyone know how I should input this in the plugin box or if this would even make catching the VODs possible? Also does anyone know of any other ways to make Real Media Catcher 4 able to catch the flirt4free VODs?

I've been struggling for months (literally) to get any Terminal (bash/zsh/other) application mix working, that doesn't require many steps (I'm happy with terminal scripts, anything programmatic, but don't want to use an "app" for this ideally). Or if I do, something that preferably actually works on the Mac.

My experience is as follows:
* I can record f4f using screen capturing, obviously, Screenflick works really well

* The "equivalent" of GetFLV for Mac, called Mac Video Downloader does not store cookies, crashes every time I try to close it. VOD recording barely ever works, live streams do work but stopping them and keeping them is difficult and requires many steps

* I've tried rtmpdump (through rtmpsrv and rtmpsuck) with the Mac firewall settings using:

Hey. :) Anybody able to help with this in the end? I'm not looking to get free videos (I have a valid account), just looking (using ideally rtmpdump and the accompanying Terminal utilities) to save on my computer the VOD I own and public/private shows I view.

Mac Video Downloader does this but it keeps crashing, doesn't do sessions, takes forever and defaults to iPad view etc - plus I can't use my preferred browser.

Ideally, something for f4f (flirt4free) as the Capturbate project???
