I got the same message about requiring a different private key. I download audio books from library & have had no trouble downloading and then using the fairuse4wm software until the other day when they required I upgrade media player - I have media player 10. Don't get the pc talk and just want simple fix to problem - how did you make out with your problem - did you download the fix 2 software to restore the ability to do this? Any help would be great!

Of course you should use the latest version of fairuse4wm, i.e.fu4m 1.3 fix-2 (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/FairUse4WM-freeware-DRM-removal-Windows-software-Strip-copy-protection-from-WMV-ASF-WMA-Windows-Media-Player.htm#fu4m13fix2). The problem is that it doesn't work with the latest IBX.

If you're forced to upgrade, I don't really see any option other than using lossy DRM removal software (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/).

If you upgraded your IBX by accident, you can downgrade your Windows Media Player or install another copy of Windows (onto a virtual machine or as a standalone copy). Make sure not to update your Windows or at least do it selectively.
