Hello everyone
I was struggling to download a video file from the web and it seems I have reached my limit.
I tried to get URL of the file using URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm) and Unsniff but I failed to do so.
I was googling and found this site. I downloaded programs such as Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm), WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm), TuneBite (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/TuneBite-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) 7 as many of you recommended.

Using Jaksta, I got the URL but the file cannot be downloaded somehow. It kept buffering.
So I ran Net Transport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm) to download the file but it said I have no permission.

I can watch the video on the web without any problem(only IE works.)
When recording programs such as jaksta, Tunebite 7, WM recoder, and non-IE web browsers are on the process, the video will either not play or terminate the programs. Recording the screen would not work too. It would be terminated.
Here is what I have found

User-Agent: WMPlayer/11.0.5721.5251

I really appreciate your attention and help!
THanks

WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) in the PRO mode and freeware WebVideoCap (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WebVideoCap-Freeware-stream-capture-software-for-HTTP-flash-RTSP-MMS-Windows-Media-streams.htm) allow to capture packets from Windows Media Player.

If you download with other programs, you may need to stop playing as soon as you start downloading.

p.s. Where did you see recommendations of TuneBite (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/TuneBite-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm)? :D

Cant remember :P

but I am sure I saw in one of the threads in this forum.

I tried WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) in PRO mode.

I will try WebVideoCap (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WebVideoCap-Freeware-stream-capture-software-for-HTTP-flash-RTSP-MMS-Windows-Media-streams.htm) but I am afraid the site will detect it and terminate it too

Both programs capture packets from your Windows Media Player (WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) has several recording modes, but captures packets in the PRO mode only), so no content provider can notice that.

Again, as soon as I opened the video WebVideoCap (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WebVideoCap-Freeware-stream-capture-software-for-HTTP-flash-RTSP-MMS-Windows-Media-streams.htm) was terminated.

The site has got filtering or something.

I tried whole thing on other similar site. The site has given me a warning that I was using capture program and asked me to turn it off otherwise I would be reported!

Interesting... Please post a link or PM it to me so that I can try. I hope the web-site doesn't require registration and doesn't have any geographical restrictions.

May be the web-site uses DRM protection and this is why WebVideoCap (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WebVideoCap-Freeware-stream-capture-software-for-HTTP-flash-RTSP-MMS-Windows-Media-streams.htm) crashes.
