drmdbg 2009/03/03 works fine with the IBX 11.0.6001.8015 (at least in Windows XP) and you can extract keys with it. The problem is what to do with the keys after that, because both freeme2 (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/freeme2-freeware-lossless-DRM-remover-for-Windows-Media-WMV-WMA-files.htm) and drm2wmv doesn't work for me.

hi leute.
click 'start' to begin the key extraction
Using IBX: ""Indiv02.key" 11.0.6001.8015
wenn ich jetyt auf start klicke, kommt nur eine meldung:
IBX Version 11.0.6001.8015 isn't supported yet
ich hab schon das alles durchgegoogelt aber noch nichts gefunden was mit helfen koennte.
habt ihr vielleicht ne idee oder einen tipp ??

I tried with this version 2009/03/03, but doesn't work with me.. I have Windows Vista and not WinXP on my machine...

Hi,
I also recognized, that drmdbg 2009/03/03 can extract keys for IBX 11.0.6001.8015. But using drm2wmv (got it with automate undrm v 2.0 - drm2wmv.exe is of 2006/04/22) to decrypt wma-files results in a crackling short file - the wma is obviously damaged. This can have two possible reasons:
1. The extracted key is wrong, drm2wmv does not recognize this and seems to decrypt the wma although the result is a lot of trash. In this case a new version of drmdbg would be needed.
2. The wma file is formatted another way than before so that drm2wmv is working incorrectly. A new version of drm2wmv would be needed.
Now my assumption is, that point 2 is correct. Why?
1. I was able to re-individualize my system with the v11.0.6000.6234 Indiv01.key (made a backup before starting Napster (http://all-streaming-media.com/downloadable-audio-and-video/Napster-free-music-service.htm) and replaced the 11.0.6001.8015 files in DRM-folder with the previous ones ;) ).
2. I downloaded another file from Napster, was able to play it back with the v11.0.6000.6234 key in Windows Mediaplayer. So obviously I have back my old key.
3. Could extract the key for the wma with drmdbg 2009/03/03 (this version works for v11.0.6000.6234 as expected)
4. Nevertheless got a damaged file when decrypting the wma with drm2wmv .
So do you have any ideas - maybe if there is a newer version of drm2wmv?
Some specs from my system:
Windows XP SP2
Windows MediaPlayer 11 without latest updates (Updates disabled since half a year or so)
By the way: The Indiv01.key is obviously just a DLL with file extension .key - some people call this 'security through obscurity' :p.

You can try FairUse4WM (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/FairUse4WM-freeware-DRM-removal-Windows-software-Strip-copy-protection-from-WMV-ASF-WMA-Windows-Media-Player.htm) or drmdbg + freeme2 (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/freeme2-freeware-lossless-DRM-remover-for-Windows-Media-WMV-WMA-files.htm)

I´m also on 11.0.6001.8015 right now.
With the latest drmdbg i´m able to extract keys (with WMP11) from my Napster (http://all-streaming-media.com/downloadable-audio-and-video/Napster-free-music-service.htm) WMAs, but when i try to remove the DRM with "decryptIT" or freeme2 (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/freeme2-freeware-lossless-DRM-remover-for-Windows-Media-WMV-WMA-files.htm) i only get "strange noise".
When trying to downgrade to WMP10 my WinXP seems to keep 11.0.6001.8015 and drmdbg crashes when trying to extract the Keys. any solutions for me?

M$ does allow you to downgrade WMP, but downgrading IBX is no longer possible. Even if you re-individualize your computer, you get the latest version of IBX. And althout drmdbg support IBX 11.0.6001.8015, it is not supported by the latest versions of freeme2 (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/freeme2-freeware-lossless-DRM-remover-for-Windows-Media-WMV-WMA-files.htm) and FairUse4WM (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/FairUse4WM-freeware-DRM-removal-Windows-software-Strip-copy-protection-from-WMV-ASF-WMA-Windows-Media-Player.htm).
You can still use lossy DRM removal software (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/) as well as screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) and direct sound recording software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-audio-stream/direct-sound-recording.htm).

Thank you. I try to avoid lossy remove tools. Do you (or anyone else) know if there will be new versions of DecryptIt, FreeMe2 or FairUse4WM?

I don't really know whether there will be any new versions of the existing lossless DRM removal software (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/) or whether there will be any new tools released...

I have just accidentally downloaded this DRM 11.0.6001.8015 and absolutely no program out there works that has been suggested. Even capture programs are invaded on my computer. This DRM version disabled even my ability to use inputs and outputs to try to circumvent audio. When I tried Tunebite (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/TuneBite-Convert-DRM-protected-WMV-M4P-M4V-video-WMA-AAC-M4B-AA-music-audio-books-preserving-ID3-tags.htm), my NVidia Geforce blackout the screen and crashed the program. I tried my Camstasia Studio 6 capture in every perceivable connection to record and it gives me fine video and audio for about 24 mins and then the sound turns to distortion and the video has occasional lag (useless anyway). I tried Daniusoft (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/Daniusoft-Digital-Media-Converter-Convert-copy-protected-WMA-WMV-M4A-M4V.htm) (which is also Aimersoft, I discovered in disguise) and the one minute trial originally worked for video. It even told me that I had to get the 'Pro' version for video conversions. It completely failed! I get video capture, but the sound is blocked. You can't even try to circumvent this by using output audio cord to input with this program because it only use its downloaded 'virtual soundcard'!
Does anybody out there know how to simply remove all traces of DRM from the computer? Do I have to re-install WindowsXP? And don't advise me for a general removal software -- there is no entries for DRM in control panel -> add or remove software.

You need to disable video acceleration to avoid black screen problem.
You can contact Tunebite (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/TuneBite-Convert-DRM-protected-WMV-M4P-M4V-video-WMA-AAC-M4B-AA-music-audio-books-preserving-ID3-tags.htm) support and request the bug to be fixed.
As for Wondershare / Aimersoft / Daniusoft software, I do not recommend to use their software, because they promote it by spam. They have many different brands, but share the same spamming methods.
I don't see much sense using lossy DRM removal software (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/) for re-recording videos. You can use screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) like WM Capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/WM-Capture-screen-video-capture-software-that-records-with-high-quality.htm) instead. Note that Camtasia is outrageously expensive software.

You can use a virtual machine like Virtual Box (if you have an OEM version of Windows XP, your license won't work). And you can downgrade WMP in Windows XP:
How to downgrade Windows Media Player to a previous version in Windows XP
Note that you will need to delete the DRM folder when downgrading and this will delete all your DRM licenses.
I just reinstalled my vista as i was assuming no longer could remove drm was due to update but after reinstall and individulasing i find this :( I hope loseless drm removal will be brought out for 11.0.6001.8015

When you re-individualize Windows 7 or Vista, you get the latest version of IBX, so only lossy DRM removal software (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/) will work for you. Of course you can install Windows XP, but some content providers force you to upgrade to the latest version of IBX anyway.
