Sorry if similar topic has been discussed many times before, but...

I've been downloading some NHL archive games with rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm) and everything works great

rtmpdump.exe -r "rtmp://wdigesnhl.fcod.llnwd.net:/a4187/e1/mp4:u/nhl/svod/flv/2009/2_GM#_VIS_HOM_0910_YYYYMMDD_FINAL_hd" -o c:\downloads\Game.flv

Now I got espn360 which is online service to watch live NHL hockey. The streams are 800k and I know there are also streams @ 1600k. How to use rtmpdump, etc. to download a live stream i.e.

rtmp://wdigesnhl.fc.llnwd.net:1935/wdigesnhl/_definst_/s_bruins_live_game_800_1?eid=1284&pid=1284&gid=1000&e=1264276466&ru=46&h=8b04a299db4305da3283a5f5cc81e708

simply using a command line tool?

Make sure you use the latest version of rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm) (download it from the mplayer web-site).

Also try the -W parameter (responsible for providing a link to an SWF player), allowing you to download video streams with SWF verification.
