I am a frequent listener to BBC's Radio 7. Previously, I would go to a desired broadcast on their Listen Again page, click the link, right-click the Listen button, save the link to my Desktop, open the link as a text file, copy the link to the Real Audio file, paste it into Streambox VCR, and in a few seconds, I have an .ra file I can convert to mp3.

The problem is that, apparently, BBC is phasing out use of Real Audio in favor of AAC, and Streambox won't recognize AAC.

Any suggestions?

BBC is giving up Real Streams. There will be flash RTMP streams and Windows Media streams only.

.flv container is used for AAC audio files. There are many RTMP Flash stream recorders (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm) that you can use. After recording you can extract AAC audio from .FLV audio only files using freeware FLV Extract.
