I have tried lot of methods but was unsuccessful in downloading this link

This seems to be a direct link but when I try to download it is not. Could anyone help me out in giving me an idea which is the best method.

When I try to download it using nettransport it tries to connect on port 554 and times out everytime.

If you can't play the stream, you won't be able to record it.

I wasn't able to play it, so obviously NetTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm), WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm), Replay A/V (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-AV-capture-Streaming-Video-Audio-Radio-Shows-Online-TV-Broadcasts-Video-Clips-Audio-Archives-Podcasts-Free-to-try.htm) or any other media stream recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/all-streaming-video-recording-software.htm) were of no use here.

Actually That site streams videos in an embedded player. I right clicked on the embedded player while it was playing, opened in real player and then was able to get the URL from properties. So there is no problem in playing the video. Actually that is a paid site, when I click on a link in the website it opens up a embedded player and then asks me to enter username/pass and then opens the video. When I use the link that I get from the player and try to downlod, I am not able to,

Please help me out here.

For password protected sites you may use WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) in the PRO or ADA mode. It will capture packets from your Real Player.

Sometimes you may also use other software. Often you need cookies suppoort in your stream recorder. Some URLs have timestamps so they expire quickly and you have to find the stream URL just before recording. And some stream recorders allow support several types of authentication and you can enter username and password when recording.
