Hi!

I have another file I'd like to download >

Flashgot shows me there is a 3mb file to download, but it downloads a small 13,5kb file that apparently is no flv or any sort of mediafile.
It's a textfile.

I looked at the source code of the website, and I looked at the downloaded file with an editor, but I cant see anything obvious.

I am a newbie so I dont really know what to look for in particular.

When I use URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm) with the website I only get a single .swf- file with the option "show media files only", nothing else.
If I choose "show all", it's a lot more apparently, but nothing that seems familiar.

It's odd, but neither is flashgot able to download nor does urlsnooper show me anything like rtmpe streams.
I have yet to try something like Orbit, but I dont think that it'll have a different outcome.

Is there any advice for me?

Just downloaded the file at

with grab in iexplorer.

Flashgot addon in FF and Orbit didnt work, but grab downloaded it as mp3- file without any questions..
Weird.

When services use anti-leech measures, you can use software that captures packets.

You may find some of them in the following FAQ:

Hi!
Thank you for your info, I'm just reading the flv-faq from your link :).
I was just irritated that neither flashgot nor orbit were able to download anything although they apparently noticed the particular media file.
Orbit starts the download but stays at 0% (reloading the website didnt help, playing the file neither), while flashgot shows the 3mp file but only downloads a tiny text file.
On the other hand the tool grab (integrated in orbit) did download the mp3 without any flaws, no questions asked ;).
