Ok so i have a link to a .mp4 clip and it comes up forbidden you dont have access to... blah blah

Can anyone recommend something that can force download this file?

When you can't download, you can try to capture stream or record it from screen (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/).

Can you post a link to the web-page where the stream can be found?

Hi its a southpark clip from southpark studios.com in StreamTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/StreamTransport-Download-HTTP-RTMP-RTMPE-streams.htm) it can only download the rtmpe into a flv file. i figured out the link the the actual mp4 file. i wanted to download that but its forbidden i guess ill just have to stick with flvs.

Just try to convert FLV to MP4 losslessly:
FLV with H264 Codecs: Convert FLV to MP4 without re-encoding (remux FLV)
