Hello guys!
I have a problem:
There is a streaming movie I wanted to download.
But the URL starts with mdatrtsp://...
and ends with ...mp4
:(
Does anyone now how to do this?
I have tried to use other software and I have tried just to use rtsp:// instead of mdartsp://. Nothing!
Please help!

QT rtsp:// mp4 streams are a big problem. You can try to change mdatrtsp:// onto rtsp:// and then use the link in HiDownload (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/HiDownload-download-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-Flash-FLV-Shoutcast-MP3-audio-streaming-and-save-to-hd.htm), MovRecorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-quick-time.htm#MovRecorder), VLC player (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-windows-media-and-real-video.htm#VLC), MPlayer (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-windows-media-and-real-video.htm#MPlayer).
I would give 95% that it can only be recorded with screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/screen-capture-software.htm).

You should also try to change mdatrtsp:// onto http:// . It might work even better! Besides you can download http movies with any download manager (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/download-managers-with-streaming-media-downloading-support.htm), even it is a free one that has no stream ripping feature at all.

if you give us the url we can try it in various software and report it to some stream recording software authors to see if they can add support for it.
