Hi Guys, First of all thank you for such a useful information forum here. Look like all the experts are here.


I have this site which I use to watch movies and tv shows. I use to download video from it using ffmpeg. How-ever they probably made some changes again. I am unable to download the video. I was wondering if someone over here can help me out. Any help would be appreciated.

The Video for example I wanna download is (M3u8 link (http://hls.spuul.com/va/trailers/10810021-6fd297b6/0008/s_renditions.m3u8))

Possible key file (https://secure.spuul.com/keys/va/trailers/10810021-6fd297b6/0008/renditions-encryption-00001.key) but not sure if this is the key file.

Also here is a script (https://github.com/yash069/download-hls2) I use to download the file too.

I think I am missing the right key.

because the video does download but unable to play.

Please help guys !

IF, You know any other script or download software I can try that too. Please show me a way to do this.

Spuul works with atresdownloader, but there is some minor change i've made so wait the next update. Tested with https://spuul.com/movies/7399-after-the-third-bell at max rate: 3.2 GB

Spuul using https secure to save their keys so ffmpeg cant able to fetch keys from their server... Can you post the code of script you using ... That might help us to help you better... Atres downloader is not best way to download from spuul....

Question I try your downloader it says getting manifest m3u8 is there any special link that I should paste after loggin into my spull acc ? I did paste the link to m3u8 file the HD one. How-ever it seems like it is stuck at getting manifest. Please let me know thanks !

The link I provided earlier to download is stuck at 64.52 % dont know why.. Lets see what happens looks like software is at not responding. Hopefully it can recover and finish downloading the video

Hi, I did try couple more videos nothing got downloaded completely everything gets stuck / Software gets hang. Can you please work out this bug.

you are not getting... the premium movies you can download easily... but free movies even you have premium acc.. you will stuck always... trust me...!!!!!

Ok, i know, spuul changes the bitrates dinamically so in some moment the keys aren't present and this is what makes the program search for an unavailable file. But now i've solved the problem.

@denobis...it'll be great if you could upload your files to "standard" uploading sites like ge.tt or zippyshare that don't require you to download a bunch a crap to your machine. thx
