There are some links where the video quality that IDM detects vary according to the speed of my connection.

Is there any way to download the best quality from the links?

I dont know what software to use so have never tried.

I got another site that uses brightcove.

I used your method and got to an m3u8 file.

Using livestreamer i started downloading the m3u8 file but it had 2 problems:

1.First the video quality was lowest, I am sure there are more video qualities because site adjusts acoording to connection, but neither youtube dL or livestreamer shows anything.

2. The audio was stuttering.

Am i doing something wrong?:confused:

Livestreamer command:
livestreamer "hlsvariant://http://c.brightcove.com/services/mobile/streaming/index/master.m3u8?videoId=4512483070001" best -o video.ts

396*224 is highest resolution in m3u8 ..... HD is drmed.... Biezom same method works for this too... you have to put ffmpeg and youtube-dl in same folder and run ....

OK. I got that. That means we can only download 396*224 resolution.

Any thing other than ffmpeg to download. I would have to wait for the full video to download and i cant wait till the video to finish. It would be better like livestreamer that i play as i download.
