hello all, i'm currently deployed overseas and on our LAN we use "Unreal Media Server" and they stream news and tv shows to us. i was wondering if anyone has had any experiance with Unreal Media Server ripping?
the way the videos are set up on our site is somethign like this:

ums:\\TCP:{ADDRESS MASKED}:5119\news\2feb2006\2feb2006.avi
(address masked b/c the links only work within our LAN )

if anyone know how i can download these clips can you please help out..

Well I don't think anyone here can help you. I suggest you to try several stream recorders (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/all-streaming-video-recording-software.htm) including WM Recorder, NetTransport and VLC.

You may also try to change ums:\\ onto http:\\ .

My guess is that only screen capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/screen-capture-software.htm) is the ultimate choice.

exactly.

Try the programs mentioned above. All of them are free to try or free.
