I have been trying to download and save flash video flv files on my hard drive from http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/audio/clips.php?cat=2 but have been unsuccessful. I tried flashget and free download manager software but still could not capture the flv files. I don't know if the videos are DRM protected or not. One of the video links is http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/audio/clip.php?ID=3227
Can anyone play this video and help me find the best program to download and save the flv file on my hard drive?
Thanks
Nkoo

These are .flv videos streamed through the http protocol. You may download them even with your browser.

Use URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm) to find hidden stream URLs. Or better use free Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) demo to find them.

Then download copy the URL, paste into the address bar of you browser or download with any download manager (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/download-managers-with-streaming-media-downloading-support.htm).

I can't record the stream with any software.

Well I can record ads and watch them, but the recorded main file is unplayable. At least it looks like a junk. It doesn't begin with FLV like flash video files. It might be DRM protected.
Or it might be a flash video file without a header.

I checked the second url provided by Nkoo with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) (registered) and I captured the video clip without problems (flv size=about 40 megs).

After copying URI links from http://cdn.sanaga.com/ with Replay Media Catcher demo and downloading the fetch.flv files, I cannot play them with the flv player. One of the URI links is
http://cdn.sanaga.com/fetch?file=145.flv&position=0&var0=30&var1=Y&var2=undefined
Using Firefox browser (version 2), I downloaded the fetch.flv file (24.6MB) but could not play it with the flv player. Can any one help and explain why these files cannot be played?

I tried again and Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) downloaded the file that can be played.
But when after downloading the from the following URL http://cdn.sanaga.com/fetch?file=125.flv&position=0&var0=30&var1=N&var2=undefined with NetTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm) download manager the file was unplayable.
