That only lets me watch them in VLC. I dont see how I can download them ?

with this code livestreamer download it and the name is cornell-confidential.ts

Thank you, I was able to download the file using livestreamer. However, I cannot play this file in VLC, mplayer classic or media player. The extension is .ts and media info program shows valid audio and video streams. Any ideas?

I didn't want to start a new thread as I am trying to do almost the exact same thing except I am trying to download this show http://abc.go.com/shows/2020

I end up with this http://content-ause4.uplynk.com/990d494ee3914f86b485a811f5ef5fdf/j.m3u8
so I try
livestreamer "hls://http://content-ause4.uplynk.com/990d494ee3914f86b485a811f5ef5fdf/j.m3u8" best -o 2020.ts

and I get 403 forbidden error which is odd because
livestreamer "hls://http://content-ause3.uplynk.com/599b61de3ca3493a9f7a504375fd6233/h.m3u8" best -o cornell-confidential.ts

posted on 05-23-2015 works for me? so I assume I am using the wrong URL I am using the console in firefox to retrieve the URL

403 error is sometimes geoblocking, maybe use proper VPN/IP

Hrmm not sure that is it as I'm able to view the video in the browser from my location.
