I need convert (mpeg-2) mp3 (audio) to (mpeg-1) mp3 (audio) in console (linux), please help me.
Exemplary file and after errand result file :
$ file Pornoheft_-_Tschechien.mp3
Pornoheft_-_Tschechien.mp3: MPEG ADTS, layer III, v2, 96 kBits, 22.05 kHz, JntStereo

MP3 is MPEG1 layer III, so it is hard to understand what kind of conversion exactly is needed.

in these codes v2=mpeg2, v1=mpeg1

I say again: MP3 is MPEG 1 layer III. And I don't really know the difference between v1 and v2. May be MP3 and MP3 Pro??? May be ID3 v1 and v2. Anyway you can try to convert both files using mencoder.
