Hi everyone.

I am trying to capture/download the videos from the following site but don't know how to go about it.

http://rtl-now.rtl.de/alles_was_zaehlt.php

Can it even be done with these videos? And if so how?
Any help would be wonderful. Unfortunately I know very little about doing such things.

Thanks

How to record/download/capture/save Macromedia/Adobe Flash .FLV video HTTP stream from embedded player (http://all-streaming-media.com/faq/recording-media-stream/faq-record-download-capture-save-flash-flv-video-http.htm)

Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) does not work.

WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) does not work.

URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm) gives me approx 15 different addresses when I ask for the url.

No recognisable files in my cache folder.

Replay AV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-AV-capture-Streaming-Video-Audio-Radio-Shows-Online-TV-Broadcasts-Video-Clips-Audio-Archives-Podcasts-Free-to-try.htm) appears to transfer a file, however it will not open and g-spot tells me it is a gzip file. So I am not really sure if this program is working. And is there a way to convert gzip files?

Are there any other suggestions?
I am not even sure how to check exactly what type of files the streaming videos are.

Start recording with your stream capture software such as Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) or WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) first and then
open your web-browser,
navigate to a web-page with an embedded player
and play the stream.

When I tried to record with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm), I found a URL which began with "http://" and had ".flv" at the end. You can use these terms as filters for URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm).

The HTTP flash .FLV video is cached when you view it. So either grab it from the cache folder of your browser or empty the cache and try to record the video.

Start recording with your stream capture software such as Replay Media Catcher or WM Recorder first and then
open your web-browser,
navigate to a web-page with an embedded player
and play the stream.
I do this but it still won't work.
And there are no flv files in my cache whilst veiwing, or just after.

I had no any problem to record the stream at the first attemp. At the second and all other attemps, when I hit the Play button, the video started instantaneously and I didn't see any buffering. Besides URL Finders (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/) couldn't detect any stream URL.

So empty the cache and try to record again. Or grab the video from the cache of your browser.
