I need to record it to show to my father. How can I record it to DVD?

It is an RTMP flash video stream. You can use RTMP Flash stream recorders (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm) to capture it.

Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) can perfectly capture rtmp flv streams from cbsnews.com.

And you can use a video converter (http://all-streaming-media.com/convert-audio-video-files/) like Replay Converter (http://all-streaming-media.com/convert-audio-video-files/Replay-Converter-Audio-video-conversion-software-Windows.htm) to convert FLV video to DVD.
