Hi guys, found this site when I was searching for a solution to download from rtsp.
Here's my problem and I hope someone can help me out. I use WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) 11 demo version. I wanted to download some .rm files from http://www.cotc.edu/Professional/Streaming/Archive/Nursing.htmbut the site says it's been stored away so I searched for the site under archive.org and found this link, http://web.archive.org/web/20060508180813/http://www.cotc.edu/Professional/Streaming/Archive/Nursing.htmwhich shows all the video files. I tried saving it manually but realized that you still have to be connected to the Internet to view the files. :( I found out about WMRecorder and tried it out. It's not recording though. The status says, "connecting" and one of the files' URL shows as rtsp://164.107.27.156:554/media/medvids/drape_positions.rm?cloakport=80,554 Help please! Thanks. :)

It doesn't work for me either. I've contacted the developer...Let's see what he can do.

I tried to record with Replay A/V (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-AV-capture-Streaming-Video-Audio-Radio-Shows-Online-TV-Broadcasts-Video-Clips-Audio-Archives-Podcasts-Free-to-try.htm), NetXFer (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm), Mass Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Mass-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-MMST-RTSP-PNM-media-streams-Free-download.htm), StreamboxVCR, MPlayer and VLC player. All programs except players did the job perfectly.

NetXFer (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm) has a 90-day trial period so you have lots of time to use it for free. You can find stream URLs with WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) or freeware URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm).

Hi thanks for the help! I used NetXFer (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm) and was able to download the .rm files. You mentioned 90-day trial period, upon installing it informed me a 30-day trial period?
I'll have to check the other programs you mentioned. :) Thanks again.

The problem is that the developer doesn't seem to sync the information in the program and on the official web-site. The trial period was changed some time ago ...

Believe me or not I still can see 90 days on the official web-site... :)
