I have dvd rips in the avi format and i want to convert them to ts_video files so that i can burn them to a dvd but when i try to convert them it tells me that they are protected.

How do i get rid of it so that i can burn them to a disk.

I'm not sure whether AVI container supports DRM protection or not. I have never seen DRM protected AVI files.

What software do you use to convert AVI files to VIDEO_TS? Have you tried freeware DVD Flick (http://all-streaming-media.com/CD-and-DVD-burning/DVDFlick-Freeware-PC-software-converting-AVI-MPG-MOV-WMV-ASF-FLV-to-DVD.htm)?
