I need help and any suggestion will be helpful.
I would like to know how can I burn wmv files into dvd or vcd? I want to keep some of the movies that I download but unsure how I can burn them into DVD. If you can suggest anything, please do so.

Many programs can convert WMV video to DVD Video (http://all-streaming-media.com/convert-audio-video-files/). You may use freeware MediaCoder (http://all-streaming-media.com/convert-audio-video-files/MediaCoder-freeware-audio-video-conversion-software-for-Windows.htm) (Disc player plug-in) or shareware programs like AVS Video Converter (http://all-streaming-media.com/convert-audio-video-files/AVS-video-converter-Convert-video-WMV-ASF-RA-RM-MOV-QT-SWF-AVI-DIVX-MPEG-MP4-PSP-iPod-3GP-3G2-3GPP.htm), Replay Converter (http://all-streaming-media.com/convert-audio-video-files/Replay-Converter-Audio-video-conversion-software-Windows.htm)

In many cases there is no sense to convert to DVD format, because the quality of the resulting DVD Video is too bad. So make sure that your source videos are good enough.

If you wanna watch your WMV videos on a large screen, you may use the video-out of your graphics card (if it has one). Few standalone DVD players support WMV format, but you may use standalone devices like Apple TV to watch such videos.

Apple TV supports QT, MPEG-4 ASP/AVS so conversion from .WMV files is required. But other Digital Media Receivers like NetGear Digital Entertainer support WMV format.
