up until two days ago I could record cam4 shows perfectly fine using rtmpdumphelper

now it will record maybe 0-2 seconds with the error message
ERROR: DECODING ERROR, IGNORING BYTES UNTIL NEXT KNOWN PATTERN!
ERROR: ServeInvoke, error decoding invoke packet
ERROR: AMF3 object encapsulated in AMF stream does not start with AMF3_OBJECT!

then the rtmpsuck screen will turn gray and say rtmpsuck has stopped working...and then shortly after i will get an error message saying flash player has crashed (im using the rtmpdump 2.4 that KSV posted in this forum)

for chaturbate...the exact same thing happens if the broadcaster goes into private mode or turns on crazyticket...which is problematic if im watching two cams and only one of them goes private..then the non-private recording will fail

and i've only been able to do recording on firefox...never works on chrome.
im a noob so i have no idea why this is all happening

I've been also have this issue for quite a while too. Although the error I am getting right before rtmpdumphelper crashes is just
RTMP_ReadPacket, failed to read RTMP packet header

The crash happens in CB when models go private/group, on Naked when model goes offline, and on F4F when model goes private.

This was somewhat addressed here:

But I added that line and it didn't make a difference for me. Maybe there were more changes needed. I pmed Ito about it but I haven't heard from him in months.
