I'm using the Replay Media Catcher 5 to record chaturbate. And everything works pretty much perfect, except that i don't have any audio even if there's one in the stream.

Does anyone here knows how to fix my problem?

Have you tried to play your recorded files with some other player ? I know it sounds strange but sometimes happens that in some players I can hear the sound from recorded file and in some I don't hear.

Yes. I tried it with GOMplayer, VLC and mpc. No sound at all.

MPC works if you have speex audio codec support. Try a new codec pack.

I have a same but different problem.
I record Chaturbate via RTMP and it works perfectly, but I have never sound. I tried also every player.

Maybe It didnot record audio?

Well the speex codec didn't help at all. I still don't hear any audio from my recorded footage.

I solved my problem. After Converting so several other formats, it played the audio in mp4 and the avi format. So i just convert every video with RMC.

SMplayer plays the audio for me fine.

I was facing the same problem!
Nothing worked, I was almost ready to throw in the towel.

Then I came into this amazing player called PotPlayer (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/PotPlayer).

Both flv video and speex audio play perfectly on it and files are seekable.

Totally worth it!! ;)

Seems to becoming my thing on SR. While players like potplayer play CB recordings, I personally find it quirky, i'm sticking with vlc. The best way i've found is to convert the audio to mp3 using Tencoder video converter. It's open source so costs nothing a big plus in my book.

I hope it is ok that i capture this thread, but i think the question is similar.

I am capturing the streams via ksvs patched rtmpdump and converting them with super 2014 to avi with mp3 audio.
The result is the audio get desynct. This effect increases the longer the video is.
Does anyone now a solution or further reading about this ?

I am pretty new to codecs, so i am sorry if that question is common knowledge.
