View Full Version : Anyone have an MP3 file with DRM I can test?

I'm trying to remove DRM from a legally-purchased .WMV file using a clean install of Windows XP (virtual machine), WMP 10, and FairUse4WM. I follow all the instructions but before I can type in my credentials for the DRM file, in order to create the first and only key, it asks to perform a "security upgrade", which always results in an IBX 6001.x key after typing in my credentials.

I believe this "security upgrade" is due to the type of .WMV file (3 gigabye 1080p file), so I want to test a smaller, less complex file, like an MP3. No sites sell DRM-encoded MP3s anymore, so I was hoping someone can send me one to test. I tried the samples from EZDRM but they did not create any keys.

Thank you

I have what I believe is a DRM encoded MP3 file.

has a .mp3 extension but can't play it in any mp3 players other than google's own... It's like 8MB.

Edit: Whoops. Didn't notice that this thread was so old :D

Well I've still got it anyways lol...
