this project was for windows. however as per it's sample config file it only allows ALLOW or DENY actions but we also want REDIRECT for it to be of any use for rtmpdump purposes. also this project was abandoned long time ago.

If I understand you correctly to use the c rtmpdump it is not appropriate - does not work redirection is exactly what we need.
