All DRM removal software failing on Windows Vista x32

Non-DRM music can be manipulated just fine. DRM protected music always fails to read or get the generic encoder error or conversion failed, etc. explain what is causing this and what setting is sub-optimal that you can think of to cause all of the DRM converting software to fail.

Windows Vista 32-bit

What format do your DRM-protected music files have? Are you sure they are DRM-protected? Can you play them?
